I am a creative and versatile professional with a diverse skill set curated by panoply of work experiences in the media, marketing, arts and entertainment industries. An effective communicator, meticulous planner and dedicated leader who has worked extensively with event and entertainment companies/clients within the Australian and United States markets.

 

  • Highly organized, efficient and attentive to detail with a penchant for problem-solving.

  • Energetic and motivated with a strong ability to multi-task, positive attitude and great work ethic.

I live in Los Angeles, California with a Green Card after moving to the United States from Australia. I am originally from the NSW Country town of Wagga Wagga. I began my working career acting on the Australian TV shows, 'Home & Away','Wildside' & 'Heartbreak High'. I also trained as a media photographer and also starred in the Stage Musicals 'Back to the 80's', 'Class of 77' & 'SHOUT'. I also danced in the 'YOUNG DIVAS' filmclip, 'Searchin' and recently I was a host for the internationally award winning 'Radio Mining', shooting and recording throughout New Zealand, Outback Western Australian, Northern Territory and Queensland!

I have most recently been the Entertainment Services Director for Echo Entertainment Group (Jupiters Hotel & Casino Gold Coast, STAR Casino Sydney, Treasury Casino & Hotel Brisbane and Jupiters Casino Townsville) and have very strong skills in live events and entertainment, artist relations, people management, tour management, marketing, brand management, finance, budgeting, production, corporate, sales, ticketing etc.

 

Last four year professional snapshot:

 

  • Being the creative and concept driving force behind the $25million Jupiters Casino theatre renovation.

  • Redeployment, training and recruitment of entertainment department staff including technical, front of house, management, sales etc.

  • Implementation of a world-class 3D Digital Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound cinema.

  • Introduction of Australian & International Movie Premieres including The Others, Mental, DREDD 3D, Charlie & Boots etc.

  • Implementation of world class concert performances including Michael Bolton, Tony Bennett, Kelly Rowland, SEAL, Burt Bacharach, Emmylou Harris, X Factor, Human Nature, Jay Sean, Kings of Leon, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Rod Stewart, Gerry & The Pacemakers, Village People, Boyz II Men, Don McLean, Joan Collins, Hale & Pace, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Benji Madden, Robin Williams, Engelbert Humperdinck, Barry Humphries, Macy Gray, Smash Mouth to name a few.

  • Successfully reshaping the commercial and presentation arrangement of the resident stage show offering by introducing some of the world’s best stage shows with the likes of STOMP, Tap Dogs, Burn The Floor and Jabbawockeez.

  • Successfully introduced a Las Vegas style Pool Party Series with headline acts including Snoop Dogg, Wynter Gordon, Sneaky Sound System, Flo Rida, Vanilla Ice, Salt n Pepa.

  • Negotiated, planned and implemented a companywide ticketing platform transition

  • Awarded Echo Entertainment Group Award for Business Innovation & Improvement 2012

 

A major highlight of my career was bringing Mariah Carey to the Gold Coast on Tuesday, 1 January 2013 after more than 14 years since her last visit Down Under. It was the biggest entertainment coup for Jupiters Hotel & Casino yet to present one of the best-selling female artists of all time. The Gold Coast show presented by Jupiters was her first show in two years. I also successfully lured International superstars Rod Stewart, Rihanna & Kings of Leon to perform sold out shows at Jupiters.

 

The culmination of all my hard work and leadership was when I was recently awarded Echo Entertainment Group Award for Business Innovation & Improvement 2012.
